Philip Foxman’s latest single, “ Words Tear Us Apart”, from his soon to be released solo album, “Between 2 Suns”, addresses the toxic personal and political issues that he believes divides.

The song’s lyrics “Everybody feels so disconnected, Twitter’s on fire, the presidents defected, I’m looking to the sky and he’s long gone”, aims to capture the totally berserk times we are living.

Foxman’s signature singer-songwriter sound of infectious melodies, propulsive rhythmic acoustic guitars, emotional vocal delivery, sonic electro-textures, enhances by the expansive strings along with hovering vocal harmonies, converge to make the songs’ case Foxman’s impressive resume of being a member of Australian hit glam rock band, Supernaut; London based, dance rock band, Illustrated Man, EMI/ Capitol Recs; followed by living in NYC performing and recording two well received solo albums, and composing for film and, most recently, the Off-Broadway musical, Atomic, as well as performing with local Sydney, Australia alt rock band Distant Drum.
